Alaska 20121 on Hold Again This Year

Well some times you have to wonder. We had planned on our Alaska trip of a lifetime. I guess being RVers one must accept change again. We had some problems with the new trailer. Trailer went back to the factory for repairs and some alterations. We are thinking since it in Indiana why not add some stuff on. Like Slide Toppers, Automatic Satellite and Washer & Dryer. I know we’re Camping !!!

Marti had her her Cancer Test that went Great.I had some stuff with the VA Dr.  too.
Well then our friends Phyllis & Jim had a problem and that was the last straw. We are thank full that they are OK after their problems.  
 
This is a picture of their Motor Home after a fire. They live is their home as in Full Time RVers. We were heart sick for them as they lost everything but as they say. We got out Safe and that’s all that counts. Jim was our Alaskan tour guide. They have traveled the United States for six years as full timers. I don’t think there is any place they haven’t been. The great part is Jim remembers every thing about their journey. I always like to call them when we are traveling and Jim tells me of a good joint to eat and that’s anywhere.

Marti had cataract surgery in November last year and then had some problems after surgery. I think they called virtues  derbie so Lazar Surgery to clean it up.  Well turned out to be a Torn Retina  so as of now we are waiting for surgery. Some times life throws you Lemons but with our Faith we’ll get thru this hurtle again !!

Upgrades & Repairs for the New Rig

Well with everything new comes some problems, wait not everything. Well I guess that was true with Old Blue the Pick’em up Truck. Blue hooked up to both trailers and just pulled No Problems.

Well the Mighty Mobile Suite wasn’t as good as Old Blue. We had a few Hick-up’s with the MS. We also are having some additions added to the MS. We’re thinking of the Washer & Dryer along with slide toppers wait also the Direct TV Satellite on the roof.

We also have a short list of Warranty issues, we thought most were well suited for the factory. Well we dropped off the MS in Howe Indiana last week. .
We thought when we roll out to pick-up the MS we would spend some time in the Elkhart area. Marti just might want to do some shopping too.  
We have been home bound for about seven weeks now, I have Hitch Itch BAD Too. (if you have to ask, you wouldn’t understand) We are Thankful that Marti’s Cancer test was Clean & Green as in Cancer Free.
I was good to go with the VA well until I got to the car. My phone rang with my Dr. Malhotra  on the line saying come on back we need to talk. Well I was sure wondering What that was about. The Great Dr. say’z I think you need a Colonoscopy. Well you can figure I wasn’t smiling. She then said More Blood Tests too. I’m waiting now for my appt. for that deal. Wait I almost forgot I need a Stress Test too, from my Heart Dr.Kesio Crap !!!!  Well at least I don’t have to take time off work, Love this Retirement !!!
 





Yogi is sure ready to roll out as MJ keep wanting to dress him up. Looks like that is his Sheep costume. Wait MJ just said it was a Lion costume Poor Yogi goes thru a lot with MJ and Mark but loves their Dogs Storm & Hurricane, well maybe just Storm.
We look forward to our next trip as to where we don’t know yet. The plans are written in Jell-O and we ain’t afraid to stir it. Looking at running up thru Canada to the East coast and coming back. The other plans are seeing friends in Missouri and on to Wichita and Dodge City Kansas. Then on up to Des Moines's Iowa, and points unknown.  
We need to be back home for Marti’s Mother’s Birthday Hey the old bird will be Ninety years Young. You go Nina !!!  Looking to have a surprise birthday, she will probity surprise them.
