Fort Rucker some Fourthly Years Later

This is a Schnook Helicopter I had my first ride in country in on of these dogs. I was terrified too, they leak hydraulic oil bad.

Well I moved on to the UH 1H Huey Helicopter as a Crew Chief but when the chopper is flying you’re a Gunner. 

. The display below happened a lot and that was never fun.

We walked around this place our first day. I had to go back to walk thru a second time. There are a lot of displays that really Hit Home as this one. The above Crash site was a real head twister too. We saw this too many times.

Fuel up the Cobra. Been there Done that.

Savannah Ga

  Well we moved on from Myrtle Beach. Friends Les & Jan followed us on down. We parked in a KOA park in Richmond Hill Ga. We are about 14 miles from Savannah.

 

Everyone took a Trolley ride around the city. The lady drivers drove like they stole it. The ride was all thru the historical area and of course the Shopping District.

 

                       There are loads of Churches too.

                                     Wait did I miss the Food

Ok here’z a TV Star Yep Uncle Bubba Ok Who ?? Paula Deens brother working at the gift shop in his restaurant. He was a Real Gentleman as he took time out for everyone. Thanks Bubba !!! Hey the food was Great too.

Myrtle Beach

 

We hit Myrtle Beach and we brought the Rain. Rain for four Days then we left and the Sun came back out. Hey we had run too.

The morning we left ain’t that just the way. We had fun any way.

                  Beach Erosion there was a three foot shelf of sand.

We had a great spot across from the ocean. The waves were High with Rip Tide Warnings every day.

We caught up with friends from Missouri. Les & Jan we were together for about a week. We sure had a good time sight seeing in Myrtle Beach and Savannah.

 

Yogi’s Day

 

Ok Finally I got to Swim again this time in the Ocean too. Wait there was Rip Tide Warnings Hey what the Hell are they trying to get rid of me.

Well the water was Nice but Salty. Well I needed a Bath too as I came back to the Camper. Wait we don’t have a Bath Tub, I had to shower outside in front of the little rat dogs. I needed a nap after that too.

Trip thru the Mountains

 

We started our trip south thru the Smokey Mountains. Well to say I wasn’t a little scared driving thru the mountains was an under statement. The Black Pig did everything Great just wish the mileage was better. Hey you can’t have everything right. OK here’z some Pictures from the Co-Pilot.
